Why are some options paid?+
Eligible accounts can keep one active 30-day base listing free. Extra concurrent listings and optional visibility upgrades are paid where available, which helps keep broader posting more intentional.
Is browsing free?+
Yes. Visitors can browse and search listings for free.
Do I need an account to post?+
Yes. You need an account to post an ad, manage listings, view payment history, and access your dashboard.

Posting ads

How do I post an ad?+
Select Post a free listing, choose a category and location, add your listing details and photos, then review before publishing or checkout if payment is required.
What categories can I post in?+
AD18 supports Buy & Sell, Local Services, Jobs & Gigs, Events & Local Experiences, Local Groups & Activities, Digital Services & Remote Help, and Creative & Marketing Services.
What can I post?+
You can post real classifieds such as items for sale, local services, jobs, gigs, events, group activities, digital help, creative services, and local business offers. Listings must follow AD18 posting rules.
What should I include in my listing?+
Use a clear title, accurate description, correct city and province, relevant photos, and dedicated contact fields when available.
Can I put my phone, email, or social link in the description?+
Use the dedicated contact fields for phone, email, or social links. Descriptions should focus on the listing itself.
Can I edit or upgrade my ad later?+
Eligible ads may be renewed, promoted, or upgraded from your dashboard where those options are available. Live ads include one approved edit per paid run for core listing details such as title, description, location, contact information, photos, tags, and price where allowed. Edits may require review before appearing publicly. Expired ads can be reviewed and edited before reposting. If payment is required, the listing will not become public again until checkout is completed.
Can I repost an expired listing?+
Eligible expired listings can be reviewed and reposted from your dashboard where repost options are available. If you do not already have an active free listing, an eligible expired free listing may be reposted as your free active listing again. If payment is required, the listing will not become public again until checkout is completed.
How long does my ad stay live?+
The free base listing runs for 30 days unless it is removed earlier for policy, technical, legal, or platform reasons. Extra paid base listings shown publicly are also 30-day listings where available.

Free listing and paid extras

Is there a free listing?+
Yes. Eligible accounts may have one active free 30-day base listing at a time. Paid upgrades are optional, and availability is checked during the posting flow.
Can I have more than one active free listing?+
No. The free allowance is one active free base listing per eligible account. A second active listing or any concurrent listing beyond that allowance is paid where available.
What happens after my free listing is used?+
While your free listing is active, you can post extra 30-day listings with paid packages where available. When the free listing expires, you may repost it or create a new free base listing if your account remains eligible and does not already have an active free listing.
How do paid add-ons work?+
Add-ons are optional visibility upgrades. They can help highlight or place a listing, but they do not change posting rules or guarantee a response.

Pricing and payments

How much does it cost to post?+
One active 30-day base listing can be free for eligible accounts. Extra 30-day listing prices vary by category and are shown on the Pricing page and during the posting flow before checkout whenever payment is required.
Are add-ons required?+
No. Add-ons are optional. You can choose them while posting a new ad or later by upgrading an existing listing.
What add-ons are available?+
Available add-ons may include Urgent Badge, Multi-Category Placement, Boost Listing, Featured Listing, and Homepage / Carousel Placement.
Are taxes included?+
Listed prices exclude applicable taxes. Taxes may apply based on your province or territory and are shown before checkout.
What payment methods are accepted?+
Visa cards and cryptocurrency are accepted when payment is required.
Are refunds available?+
Ad purchases are generally final because they are digital posting services. Limited exceptions may apply for duplicate charges, overpayments, platform errors, or verified fraud. Review the Refund Policy for full details.

Paying with crypto

Can I pay with crypto?+
Yes. AD18 accepts crypto at checkout for paid listings and optional visibility upgrades. Crypto is only needed when a payment is required.
Do I need crypto to post?+
No. One active 30-day listing can be posted for free. Crypto is only one payment option if you want to post more listings or add paid visibility upgrades.
How does crypto payment work?+
At checkout, choose crypto as your payment method. AD18 will send you to a secure payment page with the amount, wallet address, and time limit. Send the exact amount shown and wait for the payment to confirm.
I'm new to crypto. What should I know?+
Only send the exact amount shown at checkout, using the correct network and wallet address. Crypto payments cannot usually be reversed once sent. If you are unsure, use Visa instead.
Does AD18 give crypto investment advice?+
No. AD18 only accepts crypto as a payment method. We do not provide investment, trading, wallet, or tax advice.

Rules, reviews, and safety

Are adult services allowed?+
No. Adult services, escorting, sexual services, paid companionship, hookup-style listings, and similar offers are prohibited on AD18.
Are dating, companionship, or adult-service listings allowed?+
No. AD18 is for mainstream classifieds. Dating, paid companionship, hookup-style listings, adult services, escorting, sexual services, explicit services, and in-person sexual activity are prohibited.
Why is my ad pending review?+
Some ads may be scanned or reviewed before becoming publicly visible. This helps keep AD18 cleaner and aligned with platform rules.
Can AD18 remove my ad?+
Yes. AD18 may reject, hide, remove, or restrict ads that violate platform policies or applicable laws.
What content is not allowed?+
Prohibited content includes scams, illegal content, misleading listings, prohibited services, and sexual or escort-related services. Review the Acceptable Use Policy for full details.
Is ID verification required?+
ID verification may be available or requested in some cases to support trust and safety. Review the ID Verification Policy for more information.
